Therapists at Mind Refresh Counseling Center do not prescribe medication. Our focus is on delivering quality therapy services to support our clients. We can help connect you with a qualified healthcare provider, who can conduct a thorough assessment and prescribe medication for your specific needs.
Yes! We take confidentiality very seriously, and no information will be exchanged with individuals or agencies outside of Mind Refresh Counseling Center unless you provide us with explicit consent to do so. However, there are some exceptions to the rule of confidentiality. By law, the therapist is required to report:
- Threats of harm to oneself
- Threats of harm to other
- Suspected child or elder abuse
Yes! All are welcome here.
Sessions are normally 45 to 55-minute sessions unless otherwise discussed by your therapist.
During your first session, you and the therapist will get to know each other. You will tell your story, including why you are seeking therapy and what goals you’d like to achieve. It’s important that you feel comfortable and confident in your working relationship.
